Weekend at Ohio University

Ok so this weekend was a BLAST! After class on Friday I drove over to Ohio to spend some time at Ohio University in Athens.

Before I went to Athens though, I decided to stop by Dayton to visit the Ohio Mu chapter and have a quick dinner with some of their guys. Dad used to live in Dayton, but I never saw the university that was there. Nice campus and definitely a college area. The house the guys are living in now isn't their chapter house, but did get to see that as we walked to dinner. Kevin Heitz, the President and Joe Matt, the Corresponding Secretary went to Buffalo Wild Wings with me. It was set up differently than the ones here, more like a bar then a restaurant. Then we got some ice cream...compliments of Joe.

The trip from Dayton to Athens was the worst drive ever! Back roads the whole time. The only thing that was decent was that the scenery. It was very peaceful out there. Got into Athens around 9ish, just in time to not be left out of the movie. We went to Nelsonville 10 to see Bruno. I don't think I've said "Oh my God!" so many times in one movie. If you're able to stand being uncomfortable for the whole time, then feel free to see it. After that we went back to Jon and Jake's apartment and just relaxed.

Saturday we woke and up and Jon and Jake made us all breakfast. Which was delicious! Props to them. After breakfast Eugene and Aaron took us (John, Kevin, and me) on a walking tour of some of OU's campus. It such a nice place. I like going there, because it's the exact opposite of what IUPUI is. Then the OU guys had a little meeting to get some things determined for the upcoming year. This was way better than the four hour election meeting I was present for in the winter! Then we went to Chipotle, which was pretty good, but I think I like Qdoba more. Then nap time until we went over to Klink's apartment and had some festivities there. Lets just say there was some hilarious dancing.

Sunday was pretty relaxed. Woke up and went to the bagel deli across the street for breakfast and then I ended up taking a nap for like three hours. Which was probably pretty good considering I had a four hour drive ahead of me. Ron and I went to Sonic! It was delicious and the Cherry Limeades we got were prolly the best drink I've had in a long time. Then the trip home began. Good talks with Ron on the way to Columbus where I dropped him off then, just continued on the way to Indy.

Time to get ready for another week of Physics. Have a test on Friday so that won't be fun at all, but it must be done. Still waiting for the results of the first test. Should be interesting. That's it for now though!
