Wedding Bells and Changing Weather

The rest of my weekend was pretty awesome. Saturday morning I woke up and mom and I had pancakes for breakfast. We sat around for a while waiting to see if the sun would come out so we could at least lay outside. Didn't end up happening. This always seems to happen when I go home...the weather just turns horrible. Anyways we ended up going to Wal-Mart and picked up some stuff for dad, and I looked at some new bedding stuff while there. Then we went over to Meijer and did the rounds on "Sample Saturday." We ended up making a salad that we tried there for dinner. It was really good!

Later that night I went to one of my HS friend's sister's wedding reception. It was a good thing that I decided to go home for the weekend because it seems the wedding invitation never made it to me. Because of that I didn't know anything was going on until my friend IMed me and asked if I was going. It was a lot of fun though. Got to see some of my friends from HS that I haven't seen in a while and got to catch up on how things are going for them. Found out my friend Tiffany got into her program so she's coming to IUPUI in the fall for that, so that's really exciting. Hopefully she lives closer to downtown so we can hang out some while she's here.

Sunday was pretty boring. I woke up and got my mom a paper and got some donuts for breakfast. Then we just hung around hoping the weather would get nice, but it didn't. We watched some home remodeling things on TLC...which always just make me want a house of my own so I can do stuff like that. Then I put my first thing for sell on eBay. I'm addicted to looking at it, hoping that the price goes up really well.

Today was good as well. I got my Physics test back. Did pretty well on that one as well, and then we figured out our current grades and I have an A! So I'm pretty excited about that. Definitely ready for this class to be over though, so I don't have to worry about physics anymore. Then we had an emergency meeting for USG to take care of some things that we were behind on. Decided that we would be going to L.A. in the fall for a conference, so pretty excited about that. Then we talked a lot about Senate stuff. I'm really excited to work with senate this year. Got some good ideas to help them take on their responsibilities, and pretty excited to do training with them and all that jazz.

Well that's all for today!
