TFLN Thoughts

So I decided that I'm going to not write such a serious blog tonight. I'm bored and was reading "Texts From Last Night" and decided I'd write some of my thoughts and reactions to some of these absurd things that people send to others. We'll see how it goes.

(845): Grab the Coor's Light. It's time to get NASCAR drunk. - This just makes me laugh because it makes me think of my parents. Not that they are super huge drunkards by any means, but the whole NASCAR thing. When I was in high school my dad really started liking NASCAR and then he got my mom hooked on it. Now they are crazy about it. Who knew they'd like something like that. I still don't get it...just something about cars going in a circle just doesn't do it for me.

(+44): I just had an epiphany. There is NOTHING TO STOP ME from making cake mix and eating it all instead of makign cake. It feels like my entire life has peaked at this moment. - Definitely understand where this person is coming from. There have been times where I honestly just make cookie dough to eat the dough and never plan on getting to the actual cookie baking stage. I mean really though everyone knows the dough/mix is always the best part. Otherwise we wouldn't lick the bowl when we are done.

(912): Just woke up in the beanbag bin at walmart. - So I've decided that this may be one of the coolest things ever. I already told this one to Areef and he agrees as well. The bin always does look super comfortable. And for some weird reason, I do think it would be cool to just fall asleep in there sometime and then pop out and scare people later. Just saying.

(732): The best part about being a teacher is that there are always 20 little kids around to blame my farts on. - So I'm disappointed in this teacher. I believe they should claim their own farts. Besides the kids would have some respect for a teacher like that...and who knows they may actually like a teacher that relaxes and has fun like that.

(704): I can make a handprint turkey for extra credit in history. I feel like the word college should be in quotations on the school letterhead. - Uh yeah. Well first I agree with this. Second this is actually a bit like my Geography class. We get extra credit for just coming to class and doing these minute papers that he assigns. There's an option to get like 120 extra points. You also get extra credit if you do a service project and write about how it benefits the environment. And in his world the environment is pretty much everything. Another 120 points there. Those two combined is like a whole letter grade...wtf!?

(662): Definitely just saw the guy I went on a date with on Friday night dressed in medieval knight gear on the quad preparing for battle. Oh my God. - HAHAHAHAHAHA. Ok this just reminds me of the live action role playing thing from Role Models. The thought of seeing someone like this just cracks me up. We do have a group that I've seen like this at IUPUI though. They had maces and everything. Weird.

  1. 1. Sorry I cannot relate since my family does not drink lol. Also my family gets confused by white people things, but yah I was never interested in racing much either.

    2. Haha I did this several times. I started eating just the dough and then thought I would bake it later. As the days went on though, it just never happened :-).

    3. Amazing...or the beach ball bin like I mentioned before. I feel like in order to get in the best situation, you have to take half of them out, climb in, then have an accomplice close you in. We shall do this when I come down next lol.

    4. Sorry lol...I am going to have to agree with the teacher. Plus I would not like my teacher more if he farted haha, creep.

    5. OMG, do you have Baker? But yeah I know what you mean I mean I feel like I got a good education at IUPUI, but some of those Liberal Arts classes are kind of sketchy.

    6. Lol that is what I was thinking as well. I am not going to lie I always wanted to go to one lol. Remember I want to do away with guns and go back to a time of sword.

Good blog, keep it up. :-D
